What do I need to get a truck insurance quote?
Your USDOT and MC number (if you have them), each driver's license and date of birth, the VIN, year and value of each truck and trailer, what you haul, your radius of operation and, if you have them, loss runs from your current carrier.
Can you insure a new authority?
Yes. We work with carriers that insure new ventures. Premiums are usually higher during the first years, and we help you with the filings your authority needs.
What filings can you help with?
We help with the federal and state filings your operation requires, such as the MCS-90 and BMC-91X for FMCSA and the filings required in California. Tell us your operation and we'll confirm which ones apply.
How fast can I get a certificate of insurance?
Request it any time in our Client Service Center. During business hours we usually send certificates the same day.
What is the difference between non-trucking liability and bobtail?
Both cover a leased-on driver when the truck is not under dispatch, but they apply in different situations. We review your lease agreement and tell you which one you need.
Do I need workers' compensation?
In California, if you have employees, workers' compensation is required by law. Many contracts also ask for it from subcontractors.
Can I pay my policy in installments?
Many policies can be paid with a down payment and monthly installments through premium financing. We'll show you the options with your quote.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. We serve clients in English and Spanish.
How do I report a claim?
Call your insurance carrier's claims number (it's on your policy and ID card) as soon as possible, and let us know with the Report a Claim form on this site or at (949) 691-1361 so we can help you through the process. Take photos and write down the other party's information if there was an accident.
